CoNtrol: Retain More Nitrogen
CoNtrol is an NBPT-based Nitrogen stabilizer designed to reduce ammonia volatilization by inhibiting urease activity. By slowing the breakdown of urea-based fertilizers, CoNtrol helps retain more Nitrogen in the soil for plant uptake. It is recommended for surface applications of urea and urea-containing fertilizers, including pre-plant, pre-emergence, side-dress, top-dress, and other post-planting applications. By delaying urea hydrolysis, CoNtrol minimizes Nitrogen loss, maximizing fertilizer efficiency and crop performance.

General rate recommendations are based on average conditions. Rates may be adjusted higher as needed based on field conditions, including the following: 1. Soil pH values higher than 7.0 pose a risk for higher potential volatility. 2. A residue of more than 30% presents higher levels of urease, and higher volatility can be expected.
