Foliar Application

  • 1-2 pints per acre. When spraying with glyphosate, use a water conditioner/adjuvant. When spraying alone, or with a fungicide or insecticide, add an extender/sticker to make it last on the plant longer. Do not use an extender/sticker with herbicides.
  • Use 5-20 gallons of water per acre. The lower the volume of water used, creates more heat units, making it more effective. Pepper Spray contains 20,000 Scoville heat units. With this product , you are applying heat units, not volume.

Special Caution

Severe irritation can occur if Pepper Spray comes into contact with skin or eyes. Applicators and handlers must wear a long-sleeve shirt and long pants, waterproof gloves, shoes with socks, a full-face shield, a rubber apron, and a hard hat. Personnel should not reenter the field until the product has dried onto the foliage. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water by cleaning of equipment or disposal of equipment wash water.
